As it happens in other areas of our work, study and research have been fundamental in developing pig farming.
The great genetic improvement we achieved at our breeding stock farms allowed us to leverage performance for all breeds reaching superior quality production levels, breeding pigs that are healthier and more suitable for human consumption.
At the same time we endeavored to create special feeds to nourish these improved swine and to produce more kilograms per pig per year with healthier and leaner meat herds.
